Mary Lou Maher
Senior Research Scientist at the HCILab in the iSchool at the University of Maryland and Honorary Professor of Design Computing in the Design Lab at the University of Sydney. She completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering at Columbia University in 1979, and a Master of Science and PhD at Carnegie Mellon University, completing the PhD in 1984. Her research includes the development of cognitive and computational models of design and their evaluation through empirical studies of new technologies to support design and enhance creativity of individuals, teams, and large-scale collective intelligence. http://maryloumaher.net
Lamine Mahdjoubi
Professor of ICT in the Built Environment at the University of the West of England, Bristol, UK. He is an architect and urban designer by professional background with expertise in computing and the built environment. His research spans the evaluation of aspects of computer-generated simulations in environmental design. It also includes the development of tools and techniques for use in design-decision support.
